Missy (she/her) is an Undergraduate Academic Advisor in the Department of History and the Department of Political Science after serving as an Academic Administrator in the Dietrich School's Undergraduate Office of Student Records. Prior to entering the higher education field, she enjoyed over six years of professional experience in nonprofit arts education and administration. Missy holds an M.Ed. from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Education (H2P!) where she focused on access and equity in higher education spaces, utilizing various student development theories to inform her work in holistically serving students.
Her favorite part of her work is getting to build relationships with students as they navigate such a pivotal time in their life. She is always happy to meet and chat with students, so feel free to reach out!
